Common checks

Camera, photographs, or location are unavailable

Review Find Catalogue’s permissions in the device Settings app. A manual record can use a photograph from the library and can have a manually entered, approximate, or unknown discovery location.

A map is blank or unavailable

Interactive maps need an internet connection to load OpenStreetMap tiles. Your catalogue and coordinates remain stored locally and can still be used without the map.

Sharing a PDF-and-photos bundle

The bundle is a ZIP file containing a formatted PDF, a README manifest, and saveable photographs grouped by permanent log number. Choose whether exact coordinates are hidden or included before creating the export.

Records or photographs appear to be missing

Do not delete or reinstall the app while investigating, because the catalogue is stored in the app’s local container. Contact support with the device, app version, and the steps that led to the issue.
